Will LATE planted MILO FOR DEER work? Food plot update 10-06-19

Well we finally got a decent rain on Oct 6, 2019 so after the first part of the rain I decided to take a walk and see how some of the food plots are looking, but particularly the Milo for deer that I planted on AUG 8, 2019. That was WAY TOO LATE during normal weather conditions and time of year, but I think it just might work! This year has been a major food plot nightmare so I've tried to add many different layers to hopefully end up with Some decent food plots, and the Milo was one of the layers. The seed heads are starting to come up, and as long as we don't freeze out I think they will have time to mature, but stay tuned to find out for sure. I had Lots of critics that said it would never mature being planted that late, but remember we are pretty far south.
