Overview:
The presence of high moisture during the POP procedure delays the completion of the project. Life & quality of coating gets hampered if it is done in the presence of high moisture levels.

Generally, POP drying is left to the mercy of nature for natural drying or it is dried through a painful crude method. This crude method sometimes leads to cracks in POP and therefore damaging the whole of the walls. If the temperature is not controlled, the crude methods eg: Halogen lamps and heater destroys the aesthetic looks and reduces the POP’s life.

Drying of POP, reduction of moisture can be done with the help of Dehumidifiers. Dehumidification is the most effective and quickest method of moisture removal. Dehumidification involves lowering the dew point of the air surrounding the POP so as the water starts to migrate from POP to the dry surrounding air. Dehumidification helps to achieve and maintain the Level of Moisture to prevent coating failure while POP coating.

A dehumidification system can help to dry the POP faster. Humid air is directed across a desiccant material of Dehumidifier that acts as a drying agent. The moist desiccant is dried using a second hot air stream that heats the desiccant and releases moisture. Then the desiccant is reused to dry more air. In a continuous process, the air is dried by the desiccant while the moist desiccant is dried for reuse so that dry air is available continuously.
