This will be a fun phonics lesson for adults to help you learn American English pronunciation. Today we will do lesson 4 in the Level 5 Adult Phonics series. We will learn the vowel pair OI and it's unique sound. I will teach you how to correctly pronounce words Coin, Oil, Boil, Coil, Soil, Foil, Point, and Toilet in an English accent. We will learn the two vowel pair OY. I will teach you how to correctly pronounce the words Boy, Joy, Toy, and Soybean in an American English accent. The vowel pair OI and OY are common sounds and they are important vowel pairs in English. This is why we study them in Phonics. I just want you to start to notice the patterns for spelling. I want you to focus on reading and pronouncing the sounds correctly. That is the most important part. This is how a native English speaker learns to read and speak. And you can too.

Practice speaking like this with me while you are alone. There is no pressure in my lessons, so you can relax and answer to the best of your ability.
