PDR El Trovador Rosado Corona Gorda Cigar Review - This 6x46 box pressed stick features a firmly packed slightly oily dark chocolate wrapper with a triple cap and pungent cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke with a heavy wood and earth combo with a building pepper texture all through the long finish. The first third burns a bit wonky but the draw is still perfect with good smoke output. Notes shift to a cedar and cinnamon core with the same zingy texture but not much sweetness, all on the long finish of the same. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes dropping a solid ash with the same notes and perfect performance. Ending at 1:15 the last third shifts to a bright leather, cinnamon and coca, still with a perfect burn to the nub.
