Mandoverse Trailer Entertainment News:
With The Book of Boba Fett finished and all episodes streaming on Disney+, the Mandalorian Universe is now fully underway. Star Wars is taking a Marvel-like approach to the streaming service, where multiple shows will frequently crossover with one another. The first of those events happened in the second half of The Book of Boba Fett when viewers saw Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin aid Temuera Morrison's Boba Fett against the Pyke Syndicate.
Din Djarin seems to be the core of what Disney and Lucasfilm want to build the future of the franchise around. Shortly after Boba Fett and Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka appeared in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, their own spin-off shows were announced.
Ewan McGregor Entertainment News:
Star Wars fans were first introduced to Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi with the release of The Phantom Menace in 1999. Compared to the Obi-Wan everyone knew from the original trilogy of films, this much younger version was almost a completely different character.
But by the time Attack of the Clones came around in 2002, McGregor and Master Obi-Wan had grown on audiences. As Anakin Skywalker’s teacher, Obi-Wan reminded us so much of the patient, wise master who began Luke’s training years later.
By the end of Revenge of the Sith in 2005, most were certain McGregor would never return to play the character again — how could he? His story had come full circle. At the time, there didn’t seem to be any plans for more live-action Obi-Wan in an era where McGregor would fit the role. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, James Arnold Taylor took on the task of voicing the character for all seven seasons. McGregor was a gem of Star Wars’ past.
And then, over a decade later, Kathleen Kennedy asked McGregor the question that would change everything.
The Batman Sequel Entertainment News:
The Batman is now less than two weeks away from hitting theaters worldwide as the wait for another solo Batman film has finally come to an end. This particular adventure with the Dark Knight stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero and is directed by Matt Reeves. This time, the vigilante will be up against the Riddler and the Penguin while he tries to figure out Selina Kyle's Catwoman.
If the trailers are anything to go by, the movie certainly seems to be going back to the character's "grounded" roots, which will undoubtedly give fans plenty of Christopher Nolan vibes. Not only that, but it seems like the story will be a dark one; just take a look at Paul Dano's Riddler.
Charlie Cox and Daredevil Entertainment News:
Charlie Cox and Daredevil will be back in the MCU, which follows the recent surprise appearance by Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The actor confirms something is happening but stopped short of stating specifically what it involves in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"I know something," Cox told Radio Times while promoting the release of his Irish crime drama Kin. "I don't know much, but I know there will be something else."
Spider-Man: No Way Home saw Charlie Cox appear as the lawyer Matt Murdock where he helped Peter Parker with his legal troubles following the death of Mysterio, and Cox confirmed to the site that his part was "always a very small little cameo" and that Marvel was pretty secretive about things.
"I got a phone call saying, 'Do you want to come back? Do you want to be in Spider-Man?' and I was like, 'Obviously, yeah! That would be amazing. I'm thrilled. I'd love to do that.' They said 'Great, we'll be in touch.' and then I didn't hear anything for, like, two months!" explained Cox. "I did get to the point where I was like, 'Did I dream this?' – I definitely got to the point where I was, like, 'I don't know what's gonna happen.' But then I got a follow-up phone call."
Edlen Ring Entertainment News:
Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls game director Hidetaka Miyazaki has not taken comparisons of those games to The Legend of Zelda series with much joy. “I feel deeply unworthy of the comparison,” Miyazaki has said, calling the early Zelda games “monumental” works. But it is hard not to see the Zelda series’ influence, particularly the groundbreaking open-world adventure The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, on his company FromSoftware’s new game, Elden Ring.
Nintendo’s 2017 Zelda game appears to have had a powerful, and overwhelmingly positive, impact on FromSoftware’s beloved style of action-RPG. Elden Ring is a deeply impressive adventure of incredible breadth and depth, blending From’s style of rich, challenging combat with exploration, discovery, and new levels of player freedom.
