Challenge month....taking on UE5

This month is "challenge month" starting with the Pug Forest Challenge by Jonathan Winbush and EJ Hassenfratz https://youtu.be/FRgCAb4smnw. I also started working on Clinton Jones' challege as well https://youtu.be/D0OvHVJV_XU.
My goal is to pass along to you all what I learn working on these challenges.

In this video I discuss bringing characters into Unreal Engine with one of the specified animations for Clinton's challenge. I tried the way that was specified and was successful although I probably did an extra retarget.
I then saw Clinton's example of bringing Mixamo characters into C4d a while back and decided to try it and also see if it would go into Unreal Engine. There were some challenges...Using the full C4d import was a mess and Alembic didn't work at all.
Fbx worked but there were a few glitches...in particular the animation coming in on the wrong plane as C4d uses the Y axis for vertical and UE uses the Z axis. But it did come in and is working in UE5 in a sample project.

Finally this is the tutorial for the Blender Method: https://youtu.be/dCtcyXrzyAs
This is the Tutorial on bringing Mixamo in https://youtu.be/a9vS5uhI5gE
