PREYINGHAWK REPORT #38: WHY DOES CALIFORNIA IMPORT ELECTRICITY FROM OREGON?

I am getting solar installed from a wonderful company SunRun. I am not getting it to save $ (although I will) and I am not getting it to keep the lights on when I lose power (it doesn't work that way directly but will using a backup generator so that's a side benefit).

I AM GETTING IT BECAUSE THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS RUN BY A DICTATOR WHO HAS, AND CONTINUES, TO DO EVERYTHING IT CAN TO CONTROL THE CITIZENRY AND MAKE US SUFFER. WE ALL KNOW IT.

In terms of electricity, what I didn't know, is that we are paying to TRANMIT electricity from outside the state and then we are paying to DISTRIBUTE this electricity from outside the state to our homes or business. LOOK AT THE LAST PAGE OF YOUR PG&E BILL. i am paying to transmit electricity into my State, and then pay for the State to distribute it to my house. SO WITH THIS WONDERFUL SOLAR EQUIPMENT INSTALLED IN A FEW WEEKS, I NO LONGER HAVE TO GET MY ELECTRICITY FROM THE STATE. I get it from the sun and it goes directly into my house. WOW. SO YES, I AM BREAKING FROM THE STATE. THAT IS MY BOTTOM LINE RATIONALE. AND I AM NO LONGER BEHOLDEN TO THEIR UNGODLY RATE HIKES.

They just announced another whopping double digit increase come January 2023. So no matter how much you conserve, WE WILL BE SCREWED BY THE STATE. BUT NOT ME. AT LEAST NOT IN TERMS OF THIS ONE PIECE OF THE PUZZLE. My bill will be set and only increase 2.9% annually for 25 years.

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED AND HAD TO DO A JOURNAL CLIP OF THE COOLEST THING - THE DRONE OUT SURVEYING THE ROOF!! Brought out a kid from down the street even!

I encourage everyone still tied to the STATE for their electricity to JUMP OFF THAT TEETER TOTTER. IF YOU WANT TO EXPLORE, CALL THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON WHO TAUGHT ME ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY. I HATE CALLING HIM A SALESMAN. BECAUSE THAT RAISES A PICTURE OF A SLEAZY USED CAR SALESMAN WITH ONLY ONE GOAL. RIP YOU OFF AND GET RICH QUICK.

Bryan Halley. When I answered his knock on my door last week I had no idea I would meet a wonderful human being. Turns out he is a great father. A wonderful son. And wants to educate and teach about this opportunity to get solar on your house to break away from the tyrannical clutches of PG&E to the extent possible. NOT ONE PENNY OUT OF MY POCKET. NO CREDIT RUN. NO CHECKS WRITTEN.

After meeting Bill today who did the site survey work, THIS IS A GOOD GROUP OF PEOPLE! I hate contractors generally. I just am uncomfortable. But as you will see, Bill was awesome!
