Chicago Bears training camp news, rumors & updates have been buzzing leading up to the Bears preseason opener against the Chiefs. Several Bears’ rookies will have a chance to show out including Braxton Jones and Jaquan Brisker. Brisker has been a Bears training camp winner up to this point and looks like a legit playmaker in the Bears secondary. Velus Jones Jr. and Kyler Gordon are day-to-day with minor injuries according to Bears head coach Matt Eberflus. We’ll see if they play and how they perform if they do against KC. With Byron Pringle and N’Keal Harry injured, the WRs will be something to monitor after Darnell Mooney. Who will step up? Equanimeous St. Brown has had a strong camp and should get a lot of reps. Will guys like Dazz Newsome, Tajae Sharpe and David Moore make enough catches this week against the Chiefs?
