Wallpaper stripping nightmare! Renovating the Bedroom of our century Farmhouse! // The homestead #4

Wall paper is a nightmare to take off of walls, especially when it is thick wallpaper paneling. My original plan was to just sand it down a little bit and use drywall compound to cover it, smooth that out and paint over. But then I realised that the wet drywall mud can interact with the wallpaper and create bumps and generally not look good, so I decided to begin peeling the wallpaper back where I could and where I had to. The whole bedroom was covered in three different type of textured wallpaper that was literally from nightmares that I've had. But this is an important job to do so I do it! The quicker I can get the master bedroom done the sooner we can feel like this house is our home, because right now we are still sleeping in the motorhome and we are feeling like we are in limbo as we spend most of our time in the house. (which also leaves poor ronnie alone for much too long.)
