The Killer Preacher: Halloween True Crime

John D. White had served two prison terms for stabbing a woman and murdering another. After serving his sentence he became a pastor at a small church in rural Michigan. He became involved with a female neighbor and on Halloween night soon after they started dating John strangled her to death, while she was dressing her grandson for Halloween. He dumped her body in the woods then returned to finish dressing the grandson. White was arrested for murder. He may or may not have had sex with the woman’s corpse. White committed suicide in his prison cell August 28, 2013.
