To Know God Is To Understand! * Proverbs 9:10 * Today's Verses

The term “The fear of the Lord” has been seen in Proverbs 1:7. The general understanding of fear is to respect God as God. Our understanding of everything else depends on this one principle. When we respect God as God it puts us in the position of worship. From this place of worship we can grow in wisdom and righteousness. If our worldview doesn’t begin with our knowledge of who God is and worshipping Him we can never fully gain the understanding spoken of in this verse. The psalmist is telling us without worship we can never achieve wisdom.

5 - Scripture is God's wisdom to help us live more productive lives as we fulfill our purpose for His kingdom. God's word is alive, and when we remember a verse, it will help us experience all that means in our life. As we remember verses, we are more prepared for biblical living.
