Rainwater Catchment system for our homestead Garden. Harnessing the waste water from our roof.

Water is an all important ingredient in gardening, and we couldn't homestead without it! There are a few key benefits to harvesting rainwater one of them is once you establish the system it's free every time it rains! there is no chlorine in it which harms the Bactria in soil, rainwater from thunderstorms actually has nitrogen in it, and if stored in a clear container it grows algae in it which also is a good source of free nitrogen. The water is a similar temperature as the plants and soil so there is no shock to the plants unlike well water which is often cold.
The ICB Tote that I used in this was bought and payed for by the Patrons we have. Thank you so much, it wouldn't have been possible without you.
