John and Deanna decided that it was time to change their lives drastically, giving up stability and jobs they had had for years for an adventurous life that would make them happier. They started by buying a 2004 coach bus, and started to convert it using left over wood from their woodworking shop. They also ended up buying a salvaged class A motorhome that had been totaled for 2500$ and took the fridge, grey water and fresh water tanks, hot water heater, furnace, sink, storage units, and much more from it and put it in their DIY bus. They also traded their car for a mural by a local artist. When I shot this video with them they had been living on salt spring island, BC for 9 months in their tiny home, and now they are on the road traveling North America!
