John MacArthur's ministry is well-known, well-respected and well-criticized often! Yet few can deny the impact his consistency in focus on expository, line-by-line preaching has had on many. Many pastors and laypersons glean much insights from his commentaries, books, sermons, podcasts, and resources that Grace to You produces. MacArthur has been a great encouragement and influence on my faith - helping me to grow in my knowledge and love of God's word.

The Reformed Preacher Portraits is a series of portraits (both artistically and biographically) of some of the preachers/teachers/authors who have helped to shape my faith and theology. I'm thankful for the way God has used these men to deepen my understanding of His Word and zeal for His Kingdom. My hope is that by doing these illustrations, I can both honour these men and also perhaps highlight their ministries for others to also be blessed.

Each Reformed Preacher Portrait will have a timelapse of the illustration and an associated article which will have a short bio, how they impacted me, and some links to some my favorites of their resources so that others may also benefit.
