Sewing a Classic Flannel Shirt using Butterick 6841 - Part 1

Hello everyone!
I am sewing a classic flannel shirt. This pattern works well for men and women and has all the important parts that a classic shirt should. A nice cuff with continuous lap on the sleeve and also a collar band and separate collar. Now I changed how the collar is sewn and attached, as I do, because I found the pattern's methods not the best, in my opinion.

Also, I'm including machine felled seams in the bodice, french seams in the sleeves, and attaching the sleeve to the bodice with a french seam. This gives a great finish and is really easier that it sounds.

So because this pattern has so many components the video got fairly long so I have broken it into 2 parts.
Thank you so much for watching!!
