In this video, we'll unbox a new UNI-T (Uni-trend) UTG2025A Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator http://bit.ly/UNISigGen , promptly break it, then fix it again. This unit was provided to me by the manufacturer for review and demo. Although the website offers a downloadable manual, we'll barely reference it, and instead we'll just bumble our way through. This model appears to be a nice budget alternative to other waveform generators from companies such as RIGOL and Tektronix.
FEATURES:
UTG2025A has 25MHz maximum output rate, 125 MS/s sampling rate, and 14-bit vertical resolution. It has equivalent dual channel independent output, modulation, sweep frequency, Burst, and other complex waveform generation functions.
1. 1μHz full-band resolution
2. 5MHz~30MHz pulse waveform, adjustable rise/fall time
3. 14-bit/16-bit vertical resolution
4. Two equivalent-performance channels
5. Max arbitrary waveform length of 8k/16M points; 48/161
