DAY 48 / 2022 Wheat Harvest / August 2 (Jordan, Montana)

The morning started with a phone call from Callie. She and Wyatt were going to come to visit on their way to Yellowstone. I’m so excited!

The trip to the field was a little on the somber side.

I knew whatever was wrong with the air filter was working on Jim. It was probably best not to even try talking to him.

Then it got worse. The fuel pump on the tank wouldn’t turn on.

Jim murmured under his breath, “When it rains, it pours.”

As you’ll find out, though, it all turned out fine.
