New Orleans Mayor Seeks To End Police Consent Decree Amid Officer Shortage

Mayor LaToya Cantrell along with New Orleans police officials announced that she will be signing a petition to end the police consent decree, which is federal oversight of the city's police. This decision comes amid an officer shortage and a “lack of support from the public”. WDSU’s Cassie Schirm reports.
