Nothing But The Blood (A Cappella)

This is my first rumble video. I'm singing "Nothing But The Blood" acapella (a cappella: voice only) style. "Nothing But The Blood" is a hymn written by Robert Lowry and published in 1876.

Before recording this video, I recorded an audio version of this hymn quite some-time-ago and put it on my website for anyone to listen to or download for free. Have I ever

- told someone I hated them or hated someone in my heart?

- disobeyed God?

- used my standard of good instead of God's standard of good?

Since I have done those things, that makes me a liar, thief, adulterer at heart, dishonorer of my parents, coveter, blasphemer, murderer at heart, breaker of God's Commandments. I broke God's Ten Commandments which He gave us to protect us from each other and help us realize that we are sinners in need of salvation, in need of Savior.

One day, many years ago, when I was being convicted of my sins by The Holy Spirit, I realized I was a sinner and felt godly sorrow for my sins, I was truly sorry for my sins, and I knew that I needed to get saved and I wanted to get saved; and I believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Son of Man and that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins and rose three days later to conquer death's sting. So I prayed a prayer of repentance to God. I don't recall exactly everything I prayed that day, but I believe I prayed something similar to this:

Father God, I am a sinner because I broke Your commandments. I'm sorry for all my sins. God, I believe that You, Jesus Christ, are the Son of God and Son of Man. Jesus, I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose three days to conquer death and confirm what You said. Jesus Christ, I repent of my sins, Jesus please forgive me for all my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Savior and want to live for You God. In Your name Jesus Christ I pray, amen!

And when I did that, it felt like an enormous weight was lifted off of my shoulders and I knew that I knew that I knew that I was going to heaven without a doubt. I knew that I was going to heaven not because of anything I have done, did, or will do but because Jesus Christ paid the price for my sins and forgave me of my sins and washed them all away and gave me a new heart, new desires, new spirit. He also placed His Holy Spirit in me to help me and assure me I am truly saved and going to heaven. After getting truly saved, I started reading His word everyday and doing my best to live by it because I loved, love Him. I am not perfect and I slip up and sin, but I am Not living a lifestyle of lawlessness (which means to habitually keep sinning against God by purposefully living contrary to and disobeying Him, His design, and His Word - The Bible); and because I He saved me, I do my best not to sin, to keep pursuing righteousness, holiness by doing my best to live for Him by living and voting according to His Word with His help.

Not too long after I got truly saved, I got baptized as an outward expression and profession of my faith in Jesus Christ, that He paid the price for my sins, forgave me of my sins, and made me a new creation whereby the old is gone and the new is come, that I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.

God and His Word is the ultimate authority not mans'. Jesus Christ is the Only One who can forgive you of your sins. Jesus Christ is the Only Way into heaven. Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus Will Suffice. I know this is true without a doubt not because I say so but because God says so in His Word and because the supernatural miracle that took place in me that God wrought in me by giving me a new heart-desires-spirit along with His Holy Spirit in me confirms it. The Holy Spirit in me assures me that I am saved and going to heaven and that His Word is 100% true. The Holy Spirit is my great Helper and much more.

I love you, yes you, so I say with all my heart, if you are feeling convicted of your sins, if you are feeling godly sorrow for your sins, if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man and that He died on the cross for your sins and rose three days later to conquer death and confirm what He said, then don't wait, please pray a prayer of salvation to God right now before it's too late because you never know when you are going to die and you never know when Jesus is going to return and if you die or Jesus returns before you truly get saved, then you have condemned yourself to be thrown into the lake of fire as punishment for your sins. Please get saved right now. You don't have to pray a fancy prayer, there is no specific prayer to pray. You can: talk to God out-loud or silently and tell Him that you are a sinner because you have broken His commandments because You have disobeyed Him and His Word; Tell Him you are sorry for all your sins and that you repent - turn-from of all your sins; Tell Him that You believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose three days later; Ask Him to forgive You of your sins; Tell Him that You accept and will confess Him as Your Lord and Savior. Pray and mean it will all your heart. And He will save you, give you a new heart and desire to live for Him and according to His Word, and the Holy Spirit will indwell you and you will know without a doubt that you are truly saved and going to heaven; and He will help you live for God by living and voting according to His Word if you don't suppress Him.

If you got truly saved and are a male I joyfully say to you: Welcome to the family of God my brother in Christ. I love you.
If you got truly saved and are a female I joyfully say to you: Welcome to the family of God my sister in Christ. I love you.
And I say to you:
Do your best to read God's word everyday and obey it with God's help.
Do your best to pray everyday day with God's help.
If there is any sin that is trying to rule over you, Ask God to help you rule over it and ask Him to take that sinful desire away.
Learn and understand your identity in Christ according to what God's Word - The-Bible, says.
