In a bid to counteract the Ukrainegate narrative pushed by Democrats who characterize Trump as a foreign policy dove, Trump is now desperate to signal his hawkishness. While he stopped short of putting Ukraine first (Israel still gets more aid), the Democrats have managed to push Trump into fully committing to help the Ukrainian government build their homogenous right wing ethno-state.
