Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said Wednesday that three people were still missing in Breathitt County, identifying them as three women. He added that it’s still difficult to determine an accurate number of unaccounted individuals. The three missing women do not account for people missing reported missing to local agencies.

In "good news," Beshear said there were no new reported deaths as a result of the intense flooding due to heavy rainfall that hit parts of the state last week.

There were also 219 people temporarily housed in state parks and another 221 in shelters for a total of 440 displaced individuals. He said that number was only a "fraction" of the total number displaced, as some are living with family or friends.
