• Verse 18 comes after describing the second Beast (the Beast of the Earth) which we know to be the United States yet you associate this Mark more with the first Beast, the Beast of the Sea.
• Examples of Ronald Reagan or “the first Apple computer” for or against are instructive.

• No, it’s not Barack Obama (per se) nor is it his “Presidential Limousine” but the Beast Power clearly put Obama in place so although he isn’t the precise answer the association can give those who have wisdom some insight.

666 appears only once in the Holy Bible, inside the Book of Revelation, in chapter 13, verse 18

666 is specifically “the number of the beast.”

But Revelation 13:17 provides a new detail that this number is also “the number of his [the beast’s] name.” This critical piece of intelligent information is repeated in Revelation 15:1, 2.

The Name-Title Connection

In the year 1302, Pope Boniface said this in a letter to the Catholic Church:
Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.*
The Catholic Council of Trent in 1545, which was organized to combat Protestantism, declared this:
We define that the Holy Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff hold primacy over the whole world.†

* There are many examples of entities we think we are calling by name but we are actually calling by title: Nimrod, Satan, etc. This is a powerful curse and condemnation by YHWH—a blotting out of their name.

Vicarius Filii Dei was an official Roman Catholic title applied for centuries to Popes by Popes and numerous high dignitaries of the Catholic Church.

When the Western Roman government collapsed in A.D. 476, and when Caesars were replaced by Popes, Latin became the official language of the Papacy, too. For centuries, Catholic masses were performed by Catholic priests speaking Latin. Thus, Latin and Roman Catholicism fit together like two peas in a pod.
* What does this say for “Doctors” and lawyers who mask their professions (and their crimes) in Latin?

From what we know, the first time Vicarius Filii Dei was used as a title for a pope was in the infamous Donation of Constantine purportedly written by a mighty emperor in the 4th century. The Donation first surfaced in the middle of the 8th century.
Penned by an unknown writer—likely behind closed doors inside the papal palace—it exerted enormous influence over European kings, queens, princes, and commoners for nearly 1,000 years. The significance of the Donation is that it gave apparently royal, legal, temporal, and practically unlimited spiritual authority—from one of Rome’s greatest ancient emperors—to Popes.

Constantine apparently gave to Pope Sylvester I and his successors “the power of a supremacy greater” than his own royal rule. He also supposedly granted to the Pope “supremacy . . . over all the churches of God in the whole Earth”!*
And if that wasn’t enough, Emperor Constantine allegedly “decreed” to Pope Sylvester his own jewel-studded crown, which sounds suspiciously like Revelation’s prediction that “the great harlot” would be “decked in gold and precious stones and pearls” (Revelation 17:4).
After the Donation first surfaced, it was later incorporated into the official body of Roman Catholic law (called “canon law”) which, according to Popes, even secular rulers were duty-bound to uphold, or suffer the consequences.

In A.D. 1440, the Italian scholar Lorenza Valla proved conclusively that the Donation of Constantine was nothing but a slick forgery, for the Latin used was not of 4th-century vintage.
* What does this say about the character of the Catholic Church, her Popes and her clergy?
* The difference between six hundred sixty six and three 6s is to be found in the adding of the gematria of Vicarius Filii Dei.
Chapter 7: The Beast Fights Back
* The poignant irony that Rome should identify herself (when she puts so much effort into covering her crimes) with a title she fabricated that was disclosed 400 years before she did the deed.
