What happens to the thoughts as one awakens? Some may think that all thoughts go completely silent, but that is not the case. Early awakening includes thoughts that are connected to unresolved emotions, feelings and energies, it usually takes time for integration.

Thoughts still arise, but not the negative and disturbing ones, as they are connected to certain energies in one’s field. When you’ve resolved them, about 95% of thoughts subside. However, deeper inspirational, intuitive, and even telepathic thoughts do come.

The silence that you seek is a lot closer than you think, as it is your own Awareness actually. The true Awakened silence is Openness which is Undisturbed. There is still activity, and some thoughts, but the quality is different and the question becomes: “To whom does a thought arise?”.

When there is an “I”, the thoughts become intertwined with the mind. In a full consciousness awakening, the thoughts and emotions arise with no difficulty and can pass through with no difficulty. You are the openness, and that openness is silent.
