Riding a scooter around Koh Samui | Seeing the attractions, beach hopping Travel Thailand Video Vlog

Today we take a scooter ride around Koh Samui. We start from our hotel at By Beach Resort and headed towards Mae Nam Beach. We went by Was Na Phra Lan Temple. We suggest checking if Pancake Island restaurant is open for breakfast. Well worth the visit.

Next we went towards the Fisherman's village for a quick tour checking out what is a possible hotspot for night life. The small village is not a tourist hotspot where you can purchase souvenirs and have dinner directly on the beach. We also will return here in days to come to spend time on the beach.

We continue along towards War Phra Yai, better known as the Big Buddha. He is another village where locals are selling a lot of souvenirs. We spent about 45-minutes looking around and taking pictures.

Next we headed towards Choeng Mon Beach for a quick look around. This is a great spot to lay out for a while, rent a big orange mattress and have lunch at the Honey Seafood Restaurant.

Next we make some distance by heading straight over to the other side of the island to Hat Chaweng Beach. This side of the island is nice and the beaches are good as well, but today it was really windy and the water was choppy and cloudy.
The other side of the island was nice and sunny.

We continued on down to Lamai Beach where we rode around seeing many shops and some beaches.

Next we saw a road that headed up in to the mountains and went to a look out point that would be great along road number 4169.

We came down out of the mountains just in time for the sunset at Sunset Restaurant on Thanon Chonwithi road right near the place where the ferry's arrive.
