Tory Landslide Prompts Renewed Push for Scottish Independence

Scotland is looking increasingly isolated within the United Kingdom as the Conservative Party's new majority in Westminster breathes new life into Brexit. Scots overwhelmingly oppose both the Tories and Brexit, so a second independence referendum, if held, has a much higher chance of winning now than it had in 2014 when Scots voted 55% to 45% to stay in the United Kingdom.
