Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno L'Ambassadeur Cigar Review - This 6.7x44 stick features a fan tail triple cap, silky, oily firmly packed tan wrapper with a sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke of a deep wood with a dark rye bread and big pepper texture through a long deep finish. The first third amps things up a notch with a bit of meatiness, a little umami note that is amplifying everything else as well. Almost an hour in at the 1/2 way point the retro brings up the pepper a good bit with flavors the same. Ending at 1:25 to the hot nub notes remained the same with perfect construction while a medium strength joined in from the band.
