Groups the government brands as lurking in the shadows

So if you are a group, and exercise your first amendment rights, and heaven forbid your second amendment rights as well , because you are criticality vocal about the government then you are branded as bad people. Not good people looking out and speaking out about constitutional violations and violations of civil liberties. Nope you are bad people.
