Our Van Froze - Again!/EP 13 Winter Living in a Passive Solar Off-Grid Home and Off-Grid Van

The Valentine’s Day Storm has passed and our Promaster van froze - again.

We were hoping to leave in the next couple of days for a trip, so we didn’t fully winterize the van. Instead, we left the Propex heater running to keep the water system from freezing.

It’s seemed like a good idea until the Propex heater turned off and the van froze over a 15° night.
