New Years Beijing | Forbidden City Tour | Skiing in Northern China | Travel China Video Vlog

New Years Eve 2019. Ski Trip to Beijing at the Great Wall of China!

Jesse first gives a quick overview of what to expect when entering and boarding at train at most high speed railway station before we kick off to Beijing. Our train ride will top at 300/kmh and last about 2.5 hours.

Once in Beijing we to go to the famous Tiananmen Square. This is the heart and center of "all things" China government. Once pass security and the long walk to the Forbidden City Gates we take a very quick tour outside the paid entrance and some freezing cold Selfies.

Our purpose and highlight of this trip is skiing in the Great Wall of China. It is Julia's first time skiing and she is doing pretty good. On the train to BJ Julia watched many YouTube "How to" videos on skiing to get herself all ready for the big slopes of China.

We stayed at very nice hotel just about 15 minutes away from the slopes. Once done with an evening of skiing and hot showers, we both agreed to celebrate staying in where it's warm.

Next day, January 1st, we headed back to BJ and visited Summer Palace in Beijing, where we rode bicycles on ice and saw the first sunset of the year.

It was a great way to spend New Years Eve.
