Cluster of Earthquakes Iceland - Krysuvik Volcanic System Video:

There is a cluster of earthquakes around the Krysuvik Volcanic System, also known as the Krýsuvík volcanic system. The earthquake app shows that some of the earthquake clusters are occurring within minutes of each other. There are so many earthquakes that they are appearing in an earthquake grid pattern.

Iceland's earthquakes are happening as frequently as they did during the La Palma eruption that started on September 19, 2021. Krysuvik is located southwest of Iceland on the Reykjanes Peninsula.

One of the below articles states:
'It is located in the middle of Reykjanes on the divergent plate boundary of the Mid Atlantic-Ridge which transverses Iceland'.

Krysuvik Volcanic System is a volcanic fissure system without a volcano. The article further states the volcanic system is 55 KM, has a width of around 13 km, and covers an area of 350 km^2.

The Krisuvik Fissure Swarm (volcanic system) has received 100 earthquakes in the last 4 hours as of writing this description for the Cluster of Earthquakes Iceland video. The Krisuvik Volcanic System is dormant at this time but it's hard to tell if it will stay dormant. There is always a possibility that magma may be moving and is causing earthquakes. This earthquake cluster could develop into an eruption of the volcanic fissure in Iceland.

In 2018, it was believed that one of the Iceland Volcanoes was responsible for the Ice Age of 536 AD. There is an article below with the information.

Not sure if the global news covers this, but it should be considered global news. If not, it should be considered international news. These are a lot of earthquakes for a region to endure around volcanoes.
