Homemade DIY Laser cutter engraver from old 3D printer parts GRBL CNC Marlin part 1

I have allot of extra 3D printer parts laying around and thought I could use them to make a laser cutter. I also wanted to try CNC using a dremel. I'm not 100% sure if Marlin is the answer. I think I have to use a program called GRBL. I wish I could use marlin because the better stepper driver and board support.
