Several online videos showed that open flames could be seen in the two windows on the second floor of the building involved, the outer walls of the third and fourth floors were blackened in large areas, and fire rescuers were fighting fires inside the house through the windows. Another video showed several residents' windows shattered and the surrounding ground in a mess.
A resident posted on the Internet that he was sleeping at home and suddenly heard a "bang" sound, and the glass was broken. Fortunately, the body was not scratched by the splashing glass after the quilt was covered, and then it was known that the opposite building had exploded.
A resident of Zhulin Community told the Jimu News reporter that the accident happened at about 3:30 pm on December 18, and he started to hear a loud "bang". Later, he found that a resident's house on the second floor caught fire, which may be gas. It was detonated, and it is not clear whether there were people in the deflagration homes at the time, and the casualties were also unclear.
