Report of the Russian MoD on the progress of the SP.OP. in Ukraine (08/01/2022)

1. As a result of a high-precision strike in the city of Kharkov, on the territory of the Ukrainian Energy Machines plant, two American launchers of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems were destroyed. 53 Ukrainian nationalists and foreign mercenaries were also killed.

2. A high-precision weapon of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the area of ​​​​the city of Kharkov struck at the point of temporary deployment of the 92nd mechanized brigade. Up to 200 nationalists and seven armored vehicles were destroyed.

Due to large irretrievable losses in the 93rd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction and in the 128th mountain assault brigade in the Zaporozhye direction, there is a mass abandonment of combat positions and desertion of the personnel of these formations in the central and western regions of Ukraine.

3. Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery continue to strike at military facilities on the territory of Ukraine. During the day, the following were destroyed: two ammunition depots in the areas of the settlements of Seversk and Kaleniki of the Donetsk People's Republic, a center for providing fuel and lubricants for military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region, as well as manpower and military equipment of the enemy in 239 districts. In addition, the launcher of the American Harpoon anti-ship missile system was destroyed near the village of Veliky Dalnik in the Odessa region.

4. During the counter-battery fight in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Umanskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic, an artillery battery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed. Also, during the day, eight Ukrainian platoons of the Grad MLRS and six artillery and mortar platoons were suppressed at firing positions in the areas of the settlements of Sukhaya Balka, Petrovskoye, Vodyanoye, Tonenkoye, Kurdyumovka and Dzerzhinsk of the Donetsk People's Republic.

5. During the day, Russian air defense systems shot down ten Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Makeevka and Petropavlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic, Lyubimovka in the Zaporozhye region, as well as Chervony Yar, Krasnoye, Andreevka, Zavody, Vernopolye and Izyum in the Kharkiv region....etc
