Isaiah 53:5
Jesus was healer of every disease
1. The Syrophoenician Woman’s Daughter. (Matt 15:32-38)
• Jesus took time off, travelled north to Tyre & Sidon to rest.
• News spread in the area; a gentile woman brought her needs to Jesus.
• The mother persisted when Jesus pulled back.
• Jesus healed the girl with silent will, without touch.
2. The Woman with a Spirit on Infirmity. (Luk 13:10-17)
• A miracle somewhere in Judea.
• A sickness caused by an evil spirit. (vs. 16) A curvature in her spine unable to stand straight.
• Jesus spoke healing, then laid His hands on her. Immediate healing.
• Jesus then stumps the synagogue leaders.
3. The Man with Dropsy. (Luk 14:1-6)
• Probably occurred in Perea, was believed to be a setup to trap Jesus.
• Jesus “took hold of the man” and healed him by means unknown.
4. Th ten lepers in “No Man’s Land.” (Luk 17:11-18)
• Occurred while traveling between Samaria and Galilee.
• The men stood at a distance and cried out to Jesus.
• Jesus called out for the men to go and present to the priests; they were healed by Jesus’ will.
