In this Musing I am making a comparison of the striking allegorical parallels in the Bhagavad Gita and the Holy Bible. The stories are mostly allegorical and metaphorical and should NOT be read as literal accounts, in my opinion.

As an example, the passage where Jesus rebukes Peter and says "Satan, get behind me" - this is allegory of our Christ Mind (represented in the story as Jesus) confronting our Ego Mind (represented by Peter) internally. All truth takes place "internally" of ourselves, as it has been said "the kingdom of God is within you".
