Inclusion events are 'about power': James Macpherson

Journalist and Political Commentator James Macpherson says inclusion and diversity events are “never about inclusion, they’re about power” after seven NRL Manly Sea Eagles players refused to play wearing a pride jersey at last Thursday’s game.
“Whenever a sporting organisation or a corporate body hold an inclusion event, they give themselves the power to decide who represents inclusion and who doesn’t,” he told Sky News Australia.
“So these public parades are never about inclusion, they’re about power.”
