On July 22, 2022, Federal, provincial and territorial agriculture ministers announced a new policy plan for farmers.
Federal Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau and her provincial and territorial counterparts held a news conference to announce an agreement for the next agricultural policy framework titled the “Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership.” The new plan includes a 3.5 megatonne greenhouse gas reduction target.
It's a five-year agricultural policy framework.
