Fishing The Blackthorn Reef: Offshore John's Pass Amberjack, Rudderfish, and Gag Grouper PT 2

Part 2 of the First Bacon Quest Trip, we fished the reefs in the vicinity of the Blackthorn Wreck. There are a wide variety of natural structures in the vicinity of the Blackthorn which provide homes for every kind of coastal fish you can imagine. We get paid a visit by the tax man a couple times and lose a couple good fish. Amberjack, rudderfish, gag grouper, lane snapper, rock hinds (strawberry grouper), mangrove snapper, porgies, and triggerfish all make a showing in this trip.
