Americanhardmind and Synchronicity introduce our Top Hardcore Bands, as in the essence of each musical sub-genre, continuing with Part 5: Rock.

Rock (blues/psychedelic/pop) “the oddities”:
Rock embodies blues, psychedelic and pop, representing a common Instrument usage and a wide appeal for Mood-Image and Lyric. Using blues and amplifying base chords and rhythms, some of the earliest hard music was bluesiest and most recognized as the formula for 440 Hz. Psychedelic distorted this mantra by adding unorthodox Instrument, distorted Mood-Image, and fantastical Lyric similar to Metal. The speed and hardness never echoed Metal, hence the difference in emotion and flow. Pop represents the sense of Rock, taking the essence of a song and normalizing it for those uncomfortable with a hardcore or base state. Yet, these categories still compound and orchestrate what can be found in Hard rock, albeit less hard and rock, and more blues, psychedelic and with mass pop attraction.
