Julia Boutros (Arabic: جوليا بطرس‎; born April 1, 1968) is a Lebanese Arab singer that rose to stardom in the 1980s with a series of songs like "Ghabet Shams El Haq" and "Wen el malaieen". She is also the sister of Ziad Boutros and the wife of the current Minister of defense Elias Bou Saab.

Sophie Boutros earned a Bachelor Degree in Directing for TV and Film at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), Lebanon.

For 6 years after her graduation, Sophie worked in TV production, starting as an Assistant Director and becoming a Director on several TV shows in Future TV Lebanon and later on in Dubai TV.

She also worked as a freelance director on promotional films and TV commercials in Dubai.

She started her career as a director of music videos with Julia Boutros “La B’ahlamak” which was followed by a series of videos for other A-list Arab singers like Rashid El Majid, Abdul Majid Abdalla, Nancy Ajram, Nawal Kuweitiye among others.
Sophie is now the Manager of Student Affairs and Communication at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai.
