Former U.S. President Donald Trump believes that a visit by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan will aggravate tensions between the U.S. and China, Russia's Sputnik news agency reported on Monday.

"This will only make things worse," Mr Trump wrote on his social media account. He added that Ms. Pelosi's goal in getting involved in the Taiwan issue was simply to "create problems and make money."
