this is a story i thought i'd follow up on from yesterday. i finished half life one, but not without a liberal application of cheat coded throughout the second half. it was around the time i was getting around a bunker when a sniper kept absorbing grenades so i started giving myself grenades and health whenever i needed it, and it was when i had to crawl into an air duct to be ambushed by a bunch of those bugs that i decided it would be easier to just play on god mode. then the final battle is such a drudge that i also decided to noclip through everything after ten minutes of no progress, so i won't say i beat the game as much as i finished the story. i'm going through opposing force and blue shift with much the same strategy, this especially given how quickly i've run into dead ends so close to the beginning of those games. i have beat half life 2 games before without cheat codes, i suspect my problem is mainly with the shortcomings of the game engine. i was able to attend my acoustic group the ukulaliens, and i'm always glad to be able to make it. tomorrow morning is bible study and breakfast at 8, which means setting my alarm for 7 which is less than five hours away. i've done my albuterol and hyper tonic saline, and i've taken my evening trikafta. i just need to clear off my bed and i'll go to sleep. i'll end this log on this final note. i've been watching the tangled series on disney plus and it really is quite funny. i appreciate that it uses a number of visual gags and mainly draws its comedy from the visual communication between characters instead of having them verbally explaining everything, as is usually done in childrens shows. i bring this up because i've noticed that my breathing has definitely changed since using trikafta, and as a result, my laugh is noticeably different. i tried doing some breathing exercises during my treatments, and realized, i can't remember ever being able to breath this well or this easily before.
