The only thing better than the “free” break from work many of us had during the pandemic was the “free” stimulus checks that came rolling in. But how long can the ‘free gravy train’ chug along before it runs out of steam? Recession looms on the horizon in America. Meanwhile in Argentina, for months, thousands of protesters have been taking to the streets to contest their government-induced money troubles. But the roots of this problem run much further back than the last few months, or the global pandemic. They go back many, many decades, and involve one the most celebrated, eccentric, and potentially mentally unstable figures of our time.
