Pope Francis arrives in Iqaluit – July 29, 2022

Pope Francis arrives in Iqaluit as he continues his six-day visit to Canada. The Pope is visiting Canada from July 24 to 29 to meet with Indigenous peoples and to address the role of the Catholic Church in Canada’s residential school system. The papal visit also includes stops in Alberta and Quebec.
