The Catholic Church is the oldest and original Christian community. For that reason we have a rich history and spirituality that we do not always fully understand or appreciate. In this series, designed for both new and seasoned Catholics (as well as for curious non-Catholics) we look at certain particularly Catholic things and explain their origin and purpose.
