Scriptural Rosary - The Luminous Mysteries

We get the most value from the rosary when we meditate on the mysteries. This rosary was put together to help you do just that. It includes the appropriate Scripture readings as well as some meditation aids. The aids help you to apply Jesus’ teaching to your everyday life. For those new to the rosary, or any of its prayers, the words are included along side an image of the mystery being contemplated. Thanks to the Demetz Art Studio for allowing me to use photos of their hand carved “Mysteries of the Rosary.” Thanks also to my friends from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Waterbury CT for helping out with the project. Specifically, the ladies of the Saint Ann’s Society and the men from Knights of Columbus Council 36. Music is by Patrick Lenk. The rosary is a powerful prayer and we need to pass it on to the next generation. Along those lines an organization called “Children’s Rosary” has started a prayer group movement for children which has literally spread around the world.
