Kris Carr Stage IV Cancer

Kris Carr worked as an actress and wanted to transition to being behind the camera. She just got sick of pilot seasons and rejections but still loved doing TV commercials.

Kris loved telling stories in print or through documentary photography and filmmaking. Then Kris got diagnosed with cancer, and everything changed. She had pain in her side which started in her liver and then metastasized to both organs.

Kris wasn't taking care of herself. She wanted to figure out her career, meet the guy, and get the house. Taking care of herself was always on the back burner. Kris talked to several doctors before finding one she liked. Her doctor said she shouldn't do anything.

Kris Is A Cancer Thriver

Kris then went from the hospital to Whole Foods. She lived an unhealthy lifestyle and smoked cigarettes. She loved Burger King, drank way too much, and had issues with anxiety and depression.

Kris was chronically constipated and had eczema and inflammation. She found books about nutrition and started to eat a raw food diet. Kris still lives with stage four cancer and is thriving.
