So many weird names in this one, of unknown (to me) pronunciation. Listening to some other narrations of the story, there doesn't seem to be any agreement among them on at least some of the names, so everybody else is just as confused as I am. Ah well, at least the author didn't attempt to stick any French dialog into the story! I can't pronounce French to save my life :-P

"Consumption" here is an old word for tuberculosis.
