This song was written for my mom, Pamela J. Maxwell, who passed away on June 16th, 2019 from kidney disease. I loved her very much and she was an inspiration to me in every way. She was an awesome singer and songwriter who shared the same dream I have. She wanted to make it as a professional singer and songwriter. My mom in 2018 tried out for America's Got Talent and auditioned with an Emmylou Harris song, " Hickory Wind", and one of her original songs she wrote called, "Simon Where Were You When I was 17", which I have link below. She always said she didn't get to let her little light shine. But her light and love shined more than she ever realized. She was a gift to me in so many ways. I am so blessed to have know her and share my life with her. I only wish I had more time with her. I know she helped me write this song. I wrote it just 2 weeks after her passing. This song is dedicated to those who have lost their mom. I will never forget her. She will always be my guardian angel for the rest of my life. Love you mom. Below is a link to my mom's song she wrote for the Vietnam Veterans called, "Unsung Heroes". Please take a listen.
