I got a box is RC stuff with a bunch of NiMH batteries. These had probably been sitting for 15 years. Each of these packs would probably be around $30 each to replace. Recovery is easy using the zap method an cycling. The zap method is quickly over charging the battery with either a higher voltage or changing amperage. The purpose is the shock the cells and break up the dendrite crystals that are killing batteries capacity. I recovered 8 battery packs to near new capacity and one (black battery) has about half capacity.
